• Question: how long did it take to become a scientist

      I still consider myself as a ‘Scientist in Training’ as I haven’t yet finished my PhD.

      After GCSEs, it took me 2 years to do my A-Levels, 4 years to get my undergraduate degree (an integrated masters in Mathematics) and I’m halfway through by PhD, hoping to finish in 2022. So, after GSCEs it takes around 10years.
