      I wanted to be whatever they call somebody who plays with lasers all day. Turns out they call that an optical scientist, and I am one now

      I actually wanted to be a politician, because I wanted to represent other people.

      I wanted to be an astronaut. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen, but I still get to research space!

      I have a terrible memory so I actually can’t remember. If I had to guess though, something to do with nature and the outdoors. When I was 7 years old my mum took me and my siblings to Kenya to visit family, we explored a bunch of beautiful places in nature and I told her I didn’t want to go back, I wanted to stay and live there.
