Observing features in planetary atmospheres and coming up with an idea about what causes them, then getting to test this by collecting data and modelling the atmosphere. It can be very satisfying having an idea that happens to be correct.
I genuinely find Coronal Mass Ejections fascinating, so getting to study them is definitely the most interesting, but I also love finding new ways of communicating my research to new audiences.
I enjoy the fact that no two days are really the same, and I am always learning new things. It can be reading about other peoples work, or figuring out a piece of code, or even just chatting with my colleagues about what they are up to.
