Couldn’t tell you to be honest. Probably when I was around 10? Lasers have always been cool

I’ve always been a curious person and asked lots of questions but I didn’t think of a career in science until I got to University.

I can’t recall the exact time, but I would have been around 10. I got to spend time in Universities as my parents worked there, and so I always asked their colleagues lots of questions about what they did.

Around the age of 22, I decided I didn’t want to pursue music and was searching for my next thing, I had always been interested in science but I probably didn’t realise how much until then.
